I started my career as a Software Engineer. Most designers never see code. I spent some initial time in my career writing it — and that changed how I design forever.Today I'm a Senior Product & Service Designer at JPMorgan Chase, where I design enterprise financial workflows for 5,000+ internal users. Before that, I spent 8 years designing SaaS platforms, AI products, and banking interfaces across regulated, compliance-heavy environments where getting the UX wrong has real consequences.
What I actually do: I figure out why a system frustrates people, map every touchpoint where it breaks, and redesign it so it doesn't. I've done this for products at scale — 300K+ monthly active users, 10,000+ enterprise users, and internal banking systems where the stakes are compliance and efficiency, not just satisfaction scores.Three numbers I'm proud of: +20% sign-up conversion. +35% user retention. -12% bounce rate. These weren't lucky — they came from A/B testing, heatmap analysis, moderated usability testing, and iterative design. I measure everything I ship.
I have an engineering degree and an MBA in Finance. That combination is unusual for a designer. It means I speak developer, I speak business, and I design for regulated environments without needing someone to explain why compliance matters.I'm looking for a Senior, Lead, or Principal Product/Service Designer role at a company where design has a genuine seat at the table — fintech, enterprise SaaS, E-commerce or AI products. Global or India-based.
Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.
